Tucked away in the serene countryside, Marchanta is an absolute gem that exceeded all my expectations during our recent Easter getaway. Nestled away from the bustling tourist spots, this charming accommodation allowed my family and me to fully unwind amidst beautiful landscapes while still enjoying the comforts of modern amenities. We particularly appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which made family dinners a breeze, and the comfortable beds that embraced us after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast on the terrace, soaking in the stunning views while our daughters delighted in spotting the friendly local chickens nearby. The outdoor swimming pool was a fantastic cherry on top, perfect for cooling off after a day of hiking. Our stay felt even more special with the attentive staff ensuring everything was perfect, making us feel like cherished guests instead of just travelers. If you're keen to dive deeper into Portugal's beauty, Marchanta serves as an excellent base for exploration-just be mindful that a car is essential to truly appreciate the surrounding gems. For us, it was a much-needed escape, and I can't wait to return!
